  • Communication Data: Public in-game chat logs, private messages sent via server commands, and Discord interactions.

  • Gameplay Data: In-game actions, transaction history (economy), and log-in/log-out timestamps.

  • Purchase Information: If you make a purchase on our store, we collect transaction details. Note: We do not see or store your credit card information; this is handled by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Tebex, PayPal).

3. How We Use Your Information We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:

  • Moderation: To enforce our community guidelines, investigate griefing, and prevent cheating.

  • Security: To protect the server from DDoS attacks, botting, and unauthorized access.

  • Crossplay/Plugins: We use various plugins to facilitate Java/Bedrock crossplay; these plugins process your UUID to allow you to connect.

5. Data Retention We retain moderation-related data (like chat logs and ban history) indefinitely to ensure that bad actors cannot return to the community. Routine technical logs are typically cleared periodically.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA) Wisterwild is an 18+ community. We do not knowingly collect any information from individuals under the age of 18. If we discover a minor has joined the server, their data will be deleted, and their access will be terminated immediately.

7. Your Rights You have the right to request a copy of the data we have stored regarding your account or to request the deletion of your data (which may result in a permanent ban, as we cannot moderate an anonymous account).
